On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the UMSU Library entered into an MoU with the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) of the UMSU Faculty of Islamic Religion (FAI) as well as the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) at UMSU’s BI Corner. The signing of the MoU was carried out directly by the Head of the UMSU Library UPT, Muhammad Arifin, and the Chair of the PAI Study Program, Dr. Rizka Harfiani, and Head of PIAUD Study Program, Selamat Pohan witnessed by the Secretary of each study program.
In his remarks, the Head of the UMSU Library UPT stated that the UMSU Library has student-oriented programs including providing the needs of final semester students with books and knowledge to accelerate the completion of the final project (thesis).
The technical guidance carried out is also a form of implementation of the technical guidance held by the National Library of Indonesia in collaboration with the Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI). In the future, this technical guidance program will be held in all study programs at UMSU while establishing an MoU. He hopes that with this technical guidance, students will have sufficient provisions to complete the final project quickly according to the target.
Head of PAI and PIAUD Study Programs, Dr. Rizka Harfiani and Selamat Pohan appreciated this activity. They expect students to be serious and produce a quality final project. Even with good references, of course, they will be able to penetrate reputable international journals like Scopus. And can complete the thesis on time. (MY/AR)
